By making a permanent collage of the textured shapes used in printing monotypes, Cecelia increases her ability to expand the imagery of her monotypes. The same plate can now be used to create images which are similar or startingly different. Cecelia says, "Using the same matrix, but changing the colors or repositioning the plates relative to each other enables me to change the impact of the print."
