new works : Collage
Prints (etchings, monoprints and collagraphs) or paintings on paper sometimes become the basis for cut paper collage. They are background or foreground and provide line, texture and color which play off against other kinds of found paper. The collages also combine pieces of cardboard or fabric previously used for printed impressions in making monoprints.
